Atelier Collection (Highest Pronovias Line-Handmade)
From the 2016 Atelier Pronovias line, the Carezza gown is exquisitely detailed and quite versatile. The gown exudes femininity and especially lends itself to the Bohemian, Ethereal, or Classic Bride. It is handmade in Spain, assuring that each piece of guipure lace is positioned just right. So many gowns are made in China now, but you really can see and feel the difference with this gown.
The dress throughout has a layer of fine sheer mesh with needle point lace which has been overlaid with French guipure lace. Guipure lace is in essence crotched lace, but much finer and more delicate than the usual crotched pieces we find in retail. It features a sweetheart neckline with sheer flesh tone mesh to collarbone. It is a Mermaid Silhouette, but not a severe Mermaid Silhouette that constricts leg movement. The dress has a side zipper, with several crotched lace pieces that button over the zipper to make it disappear into the dress. I added a 5-tie bustle to the dress that will allow you to adjust the bustle to your liking. The bustle creates a three-tier look in the back that you can actually sit on without damaging. The dress has a built in bra, although I am including cleaned bust pads that I used. The Pronovias gown bag is also included. I purchased this dress from a bride in Canada. I also had it professionally cleaned and pressed before I wore it.
The skirt has seven different layers that help create a bit of shape and movement. It originally had eight layers, but I removed one as I felt it made the dress a little too stiff/traditional for me.
