I loved wearing this dress, and have never received more compliments on anything I've worn (including from self-professed "Say Yes to the Dress" superfans, and others who have been to many, many weddings). I actually originally bought a different dress but it didn't feel perfect, and when I found this one, I realized there was a big difference. A woman actually came into the store where I was trying it on, having passed by on the street in Philadelphia, to tell me how incredible the dress was.
The dress is made from silk and is an "antique white" shade. It features the most delicate and intricate beadwork throughout, and has a dropped waist, which makes it feel really unique. It is timeless and elegant with a touch of art deco--modern with a classic 1920’s twist.
The detailing is exquisite and there were audible gasps when people saw the back for the first time. It definitely made me feel special, and I wasn't afraid of seeing another bride in it. Also, it was incredibly comfortable to wear all night. The way the top is shaped makes it so it doesn't cut you off in a weird place, which I found with many strapless dresses.
