BRAND NEW, NEVER WORN!
I purchased this dress for my fall 2017 wedding, however due to a change in venue I opted for a different dress and was unable to cancel the order. The dress was ordered from a bridal store in May 2017, custom made by Truvelle and shipped directly to the bridal salon in September 2017. I did not try this dress on once it arrived as I already had another dress and knew I was going to sell this one. There have been no alterations made. It was purchased at retail for $2250.
Design:
Truvelle is a Vancouver-based designer for custom made gowns. The Alexandra dress is GORGEOUS in dove grey. I have since seen it advertised in bridal magazines and voted as of the best 2017 gowns. From a distance she looks like a white tone, but it is a very soft grey and is super flattering for all skin tones. It has a waterfall skirt and also has a small train. The plunging neckline is simple yet ornate with hand-sewn Spanish lace, beading and refined double straps. The gown is tied together with a silk bow (optional). You can add cups to the inside of the bust or go braless! It's a stunning dress, and incredibly comfortable. The gowns brand new, never worn or even tried on! No alterations have been made.
Sizing:
I usually wear a size 8 dress/medium top/8-10 large pants in street size.
My measurements taken at the bridal salon were 38 Bust, 31 waist, 41 hips (which did not matter with the dress) which equaled a size 12 dress.
The dress fits tightly at the waist but then floats into an A-line from there so hip size doesn't matter. You can adjust the waist positioning to fit higher or lower on your waist with a slight alteration of the waist hook.
